Her Story

Jacqueline Jimenez was born on March 16, 1961, in Ponce, Puerto Rico — raised by parents who always wanted the best for their children. She attended private school in Ponce, then earned her four-year bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras.

Then she boarded a plane to Florida with $400 and a one-way ticket. She wasn’t planning on going back. The dream: a career, a marriage, a family — a life built in the USA.

The first year was hard. She cried for six months — missing her brother, her parents, her friends back in Ponce. She did not give up. Within two years she was married and planning a family. Her daughter arrived when she was 29, her son when she was 34.

Her first job in Florida was at a daycare center — Puerto Rican boss, Cuban supervisor. She worked her way from Miami up to the Fort Lauderdale area, chasing a better job and less traffic, always driven by wanting more for her career and her family.

Jacqueline has been working since she was 16 years old — her first job was running a register at a supermarket in Ponce. Now at 65, she is still working full-time, writing her book, and building the Boricua Legacy movement.

Why She Built Dropkit

Finance was never taught in school in Puerto Rico. At UPR she studied accounting — but accounting is not the same as understanding how money works. How to invest. How to build wealth through real estate, life insurance, stocks, mutual funds, annuities. None of that was in the curriculum.

She spent more than 35 years in Corporate America learning what school never taught her. She made mistakes, sought out experts, and slowly built the financial foundation that most people never get the chance to build.

Dropkit exists so you don’t have to spend 35 years figuring it out.

These guides package the foundational knowledge she wished someone had handed her at 22 — in plain English, without the jargon, without the $300-an-hour consulting bill.

The 4 Lessons She Wants You to Know

After 35+ years in Corporate America, these are the principles she now teaches to anyone who will listen.

01

Don't be afraid of the stock market.

Fear keeps more people from building wealth than anything else. Knowledge is the antidote.

02

Learn from the experts.

Seek out people who've done what you want to do. Their lessons compress decades of trial and error.

03

Hire an Attorney, CPA, or Investment Advisor when you're not the expert.

Knowing when to bring in a professional is itself a form of financial wisdom.

04

You are not late.

Everything happens at the right time. Most millionaires started their businesses at 60 or 65.

Her Message

“Never lose hope, pray, and continue to work with integrity, compassion, and empathy for others. When you open your heart and are of service to others, God is going to open a lot of doors for you.”

“Let me guide you in your beginning stage of understanding how money works and how you can build a legacy.”
